The Guardian Angel does not simply stand as a protector of the soul and body of humans, but becomes one in Spirit with that soul. That’s why it feels pain and anguish for the soul entrusted to it. This angel comforts in sorrows, aids in pains, sympathizes with humanity, guides towards repentance, and protects from visible and invisible enemies.
