Saint Kyriaki is one of the sacred martyrs of the last ancient persecutions of the Church. She was the daughter of devout parents. The governor, interrogating the young girl and seeing her steadfast faith, ordered her to be severely whipped. Kyriaki responded to every question by saying, “I am a Christian.” And in response to every threat from the governor, she said, “Do not be deceived or misled; God is helping me, and you will not overcome me.
